I used to chnange in dos .....Changes the DOS command prompt. ... (the indicator that DOS is ready for input) ... \DOS> TIME=11:07:54.23 like that

The only other thing I saw was "FindFileFirst", but I can't seem to get that to work at all.

Type "help for" on the command prompt for more information. (don't know if that works in whatever "DOS" you are telling)

I tried to back up my windows 7 installation and it failed, twice. I have uninstalled several programmes, done a full virus scan anddefragged. I ran update to win8 as admin, and it still fails.

They are often put in the "temporary internet files" by some program and when trying to delete an old user profile it prevents the deletion.
