The data extracted sound consistent, but I do not have any idea on what I have in these files. I know only that they are from an experiment in rats I have dono 25 yr ago. And I have many many files of this type. I think that it is not worth to spend time on it. I am now traying another way: finding someone who preserved the Crunch diskette.
Thank you anyway.

How you lost the program?
If you have it on diskette, and it is damage. You can use scandisk or chkdsk for repair it?
If it was installed on pc. you can try a recover of it.

I was under the impression that he doesn't even have the computer anymore, much less the program.

Out of curiosity, how did you even come into possession of the data in the first place?

I have been working with Crunch while proiducing this experiment. The data have been stored thereafter, because not considered suitable of more analysis.
