HI Folks - I have a massive data file (600K rows) that I need to "clean". The source team where I get the file from is pushing back on doing this clean up from their end so I need to build a solution on my end before I import the file into our financial application. Re: jscript issues with downloading a zip from the Web

Hi PenPen -

When I echo the error, it says "Object Error", but nothing else.

You're able to get the file to download?

Re: jscript issues with downloading a zip from the Web

Hi Penpen -

Changing to "3" worked and the link is found. But I'm getting an error on the download and can't figure out why.

The script stopped working recently and I believe it's due to the format of the Webpage. @if (@a)==(@b) @end /* Batch part: @ECHO off &SETlocal ::-- Download Link --:: CSCRIPT //nolo...

Weird Issue, unless i'm overlooking it?

Hi Folks - I have a simple routine that sends an email via PowerShell. However, I ONLY want to redirect if and error occurs. However, when I use this syntax, it's still creating a blank file: POWERSHELL -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -file "Email_Utility.ps1" ^ "%EMAIL_SERVERzz%" ^ "%EMAIL_FROM%" ^ "%EMAIL...

Re: Get line with highest numerical string

Thank you, all!!

I reallly Aacini's and Dave's solutions and I am going to leverage both. The file to scan will only be about 200 lines max, give or take a few.

Thank you again and I hope everyone is healthy!

Re: Get line with highest numerical string

Thank you Hackadoo.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's fail proof. if I add this line to the file:
outbox/logs/DIM_BPMC_PLN - Account_2082.log
It doesn't return it. Furthermore, if I add "7898574" to a file name, it doesn't pull that either.
outbox/logs/DIM_BPMC_PLN - Account_7898574.log

Re: How to work with CSV containing many columns

Dave - I ended up with VBS. What I tried to do is spool all the strings greater than 300 to a temp file and then use JSCRIPT to do a find and replace on the original file, however that was taking a very long time to complete. The file is 105 columns X 47k rows. strTrimFile = "Trim_List_" & Year(Date...
