I didn't think of that, but it makes sense! At first I thought the high view count was people learning to program for the first time; while it is true that you probably can't get a job writing Batch, I always thought of it as the BASIC of Windows; a good starting point for programmers because it's built right into Windows without needing to install anything; even Python needs to be installed, and that's the top rated language! However, if the view counts were low in the past, and they increased in this modern AI era, your reason for the spike in views makes more sense than mine, as much as I like the idea that brand new programmers like to start with the tools built into their computers before downloading anything new, and most computer users have Windows, and Batch is one of the only programming tools already installed out of the box (along with the languages of the script host and PowerShell, and the JavaScript of the browsers which is where I started before learning Batch), at first I thought the high view count was new aspiring programmers seeing what they could program out of the box, but given when the spike in views happened, your theory about the AI is probably more correct. As long as it makes my Batch-related chats with Gemini more interesting, I guess.
