You are right. I subtitled "remote machines" in my head as servers, but that isn't necessarily the case (servers without PowerShell are very hard to come by)
True that. I like the challenges that a limited toolset bring ("In der Berschraenkung zeigt sich der Meister" ((von) Goethe)).A batch syntax is simpler and more familiar to most people. The batch scripting is funnier than powershell.
PowerShell is almost too easy; everyone and their mother can do that ..
