Cannot boot. Please help

Hello,

I have an interesting problem here.Basically I bought a car wheel alignment computer that was built in 1996 or so and my colleague just plugged it of mains while running. After that we cannot get it to work again and we dont know what to do.

It is trying to read the cdrom. Take out any disks and retry it.

Or, if it needs the cdrom to run - make sure it is in the drive and isn't damaged. The read error would suggest that maybe the cdrom is scratched.
