Something is running in command prompt on startup.

I am running Windows 10. When I start my computer, a few items pop up in cmd command prompts and run so quickly I can't read them. I could just read "permission denied" at the end of one of them.

I didn't set that up. How can I find out what it is?

Run info.bat and post the result. You'll find the link in this sticky thread.

When I start my computer,
Do you mean: "When I log in after strating my computer" or does this happen *before* you log in?

- Start task Manager (taskmgr.exe / Ctrl-Shift-Esc)
- Go to the Startup tab
- Right-click each entry and choose disable
- Reboot and log in.

If the "problem" is gone, re-enable the Startup entries one by one to find out which one was cauing this.

If the "problem" still exists:
- download and run Sysinternals' Autoruns.
- selectively disable entries (use common sense) and reboot until you found the culprit.
