Please answer this for me

#1 Post by Rileyh » 04 Dec 2011 03:07

NOTE- This post does not necessarily need to be here but I was wondering if you people had any good tutorials for higher-level batch programming (whenever I "Google" about batch tutorials it always comes up with stupid novice batch programmers who make buggy examples on .webs websites!)
Where do you expert people (not necessarily with the label under the name) get your knowledge from?
I could definitely use a skill boost at the moment :D

Regards,
Rileyh

Hi Rileyh,

you could also read How the cmd batch parser works to understand the basics.
And Complete explanation of expansion of variables

ss64.org is good for a beginners overview, but not very exact in the details.

This was my guru site, beginner/intermediate: http://www.allenware.com/icsw/icswidx.htm
And it has professional tutorials, split into lessons getting more difficult towards the end.
I think it will really help, it's not for advanced batchers though.

Some well known experts;
