OFF TOPIC: How to add signature to my profile?

Hi!

I just tried to add my signature:

Will in Seattle
a.k.a. "Clueless"

to my profile, and got this error message:

Your signature contains 43 characters. The maximum number of allowed characters is 3.

Three characters?!

What's up with that?

Mm I've never had any interest upon the signature feature, so I can't help you out...

Well, I'm not the admin of this web site but I guess he limited any signature to 3 characters (which makes it useless) because spam accounts and bots often used it in the past to add hyperlinks for advertising.
I fear you have to write your signature by hand (like I do all the time).
